DIED - In McGregor, Saturday morning, July 25th, 1885, Mrs. Caroline Miller, wife of the late Samuel H. Miller, aged about 63 years.
Mrs. Miller was well known in this vicinity, and since the sad event in which her husband was crushed to death by the caving in at Pictured Rocks, in 1877, she has dwelled among friends here in the city, except a short time east among relatives.
One son, whose whereabouts is unknown, survives her. It has been reported that he was killed in the snow-drifts a year or so ago, somewhere in Colorado, but no authentic information regarding him is obtainable.
The funeral of Mrs. Miller occurred on Sunday, Rev. Mabry officiating, and it was largely attended by sympathietic friends. She was a member of the M.E. church of this city, a lady given with many noble qualities.
