Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Nov. 1880. Volga column.

Mr. John O'Brien has lost two children by that fatal scourge, diphtheria, Mary aged 6 years, and Dennis, aged 4 years, dying on the 19th inst. The funerals took place on Sunday, from the Catholic church in Cox Creek.
