Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Nov. 1880.

William Burns, whose terrible fall we noted in our last issue, died from the effects of his injuries on Saturday morning last. Mr. Burns was about 4_ years of age, and an honest, industrious man, whose only fault was that of being his own worst enemy. He leaves a wife and countless friends to mourn his departure from this earth. The funeral was held in Elkader on last Sabbath, the remains being laid away in the Catholic cemetery. May he rest in peace.
