Jaster, Julia died 1880

Elkader Register, Thur., 29 Jan. 1880. Elkport column.

A 10 year old daughter of John Jaster died January 20th, of diphtheretic croup. Funeral took place Wednesday, Jan. 21st and was largely attended.

Note! 1880 mortality schedule, Volga twp., names her as Julia, age 10, born Iowa, died of diptheria. Her gravestone in Immanuel Lutheran cemetery gives DOD 01/19/1880
