SUICIDE - On Sunday afternoon last, Mrs. Wolfgang Brichner, of Clayton Center, committed suicide by jumping into a cistern. She had been sickly for a long time, and had become despondent, fearing that she would never regain her health. On Sunday she was lying on a sofa in the sitting room, and her husband went into the parlor to read. Shortly afterwards her sister, Mrs. Buchheim called, and inquired for her; She went into the sitting room as directed, not finding her there, notified the husband, when a search was instituted, which resulted in the finding of her body in the cistern. The funeral was held on Monday.
