Jefferson Henderson, died at McGregor Saturday morning and the remains were brought here and buried in the Luana cemetery, beside his brother, Frank, Monday morning. Jef. was well known throughout this county by nearly everybody, having lived here many years as livery man and hotel keeper, came in contact very many people from other sections. His aged mother, Sarah Henderson, and other friends accompanied him to his last resting place. As far as we know Mrs. Henderson has outlived all her children, and is alone in the world in that respect, but not alone as far as friends are concerned. Mrs. Henderson was an Army nurse during the dark days of '61 and '65, and will not be forgotten by the old soldiers and others of Clayton county.
