Elkader Register, Fri., 10 July 1896. McGregor column.

Mrs. Hugh McKinnon who has been confined to the hospital for the insane at Independence for the past few years, died there last Tuesday, and the remains were brought here, the funeral occurring from the Orr school house Thursday, Rev. L. L. Lockwood officiating.
