Elkader Register, Fri., 05 June 1896. Strawberry Point column.
On Friday, May 22nd, occurred the death and the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas Warning. The little one had been sick for a few weeks and a week before its death it seemed to become unconscious and remained so until death ended its sufferings. Funeral services were held at the German church Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Warning have not lived among our people long, but they have the heartfelt sympathy of all.
