WIRKLER, MOELLERING, HAZLETT, CLOW

Merle William Joseph Wirkler, 73, Garnavillo, died Wednesday, March 9, 1988, at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chein, Wis. His body was donated to the University of Iowa, College of Medicine in Iowa City.

Merle Wirkler was born November 17, 1914, in Garnavillo, the son of Helmuth and Margaret (Moellering) Wirkler. On October 16, 1942, he married Helen Dorothea Hazlett.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Toni Jo) Clow, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant daughter.
