The shadow of death has again fallen upon the family of the late Andrew Hartman, of Cox Creek twp., in the death on Sunday last, of the only daughter Carrie, at the age of a little over 20 years, from that dreaded disease, consumption. She leaves a mother, two brothers, and many friends to mourn her early departure. The funeral was held Tuesday from her late home, the interment being in the family cemetery. Rev. Mr. Fisk, of Elkader, officiated.
