Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Dec. 1893. Local columns.

Died - At Monona, Wednesday, Nov. 29th, Miss Kate Humphrey, at the age of 33 years. She was the daughter of James Humphrey, and a sister of Mrs. John McLaughlin and James Humphrey, of Elkader. The deceased had been a patient sufferer for the past year with a combination of diseases brought on by la grippe. The funeral was held at Monona on Friday last, attended by a large number of the friends of the family.
