Elkader Register, Thur., 16 Aug. 1894. Clayton column.

We were shocked this morning by the news that was brought to town concerning the death of Miss May Brown, a young lady living with her parents on the Guttenberg road. She took carbolic acid and died in seven minutes. She was buried to-day at Guttenberg. The family has our sympathy.
