Elkader Register, Thur., 19 Apr. 1894.

DIED - At the family residence at St. Olaf, on Saturday, April 14th, Bertha, wife of E. Embretson and daughter of Peter and Bertha Larson of St. Olaf. She was married to Mr. Embretson Jan. 26, 1880, and while surrounded with the comforts of this life, the dread destroyer, consumption, made her a victim, and medical skill failed. Besides her husband and a large circle of friends and relatives, four children mourn the loss of a devoted mother. The funeral will be held to-day at the Norwegian church in Wagner twp. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved family.
