Elkader Register, Thur., 19 Apr. 1894.

Henry Lembke, of Read twp., is unfortunate in having lost another child on the 12th. This time death claimed a little daughter, Amanda Emile, aged about 2 years. This is the third child that family has lost within a few weeks.

Amanda shares a gravestone in Zion Lutheran cemetery with 2 other siblings who died in March or April 1894; engraved:
