Elkader Register, Thur., 12 Apr. 1894. Littleport column.

The angel of death has been busy in our midst the past week and two of our people have been called to their heavenly home. The first was Mrs. M. H. Liddy who died on Thursday, the 5th, after a lingering illness with that dread disease consumption. She leaves a husband and three small children, an aged mother and brothers and sisters to mourn her untimely death. The funeral was held Sunday forenoon Rev. Dollard officiating.
