The angel of death has been busy in our midst the past week and two of our people have been called to their heavenly home. Thursday, the 5th, in the afternoon, occurred the death of F. Peick, Sr.. He was buried Sunday afternoon under the auspices of the Masons, of which order he was a life-long member. He was one of our oldest settlers and founders of our town, and has been identified with its business interests from the start. He leaves a family of three children to mourn for a good and indulgent father.
