James Hayes, aged 75 years, died Dec. 31, 1893, at his home in Elk township, of old age. Mr. Hayes was one of our oldest settlers and a good, honest man. His funeral took place Tuesday and was largely attended. Rev. Father Dollard officiated. The bereaved family has the sympathy of all in this sad affliction.
