Graybill, Amelia 1808 - 1891

Saturday, the 15th inst., in Millville township, Amelia Graybill, at the age of 82 years, quietly closed her eyes to take her last sleep. Mrs. Graybill was born in Juniata county, Pa., December 4th, 1808, and came to Clayton county with her husband, Thomas Graybill, in 1841. She was a resident of Millville township since 1842. Her husband died 27 years ago, and five sons and one daughter, all married, now survive her, and 73 grand and great-grandchildren. Her oldest son is 62 years of age. The funeral of this kind and generous hearted woman was unusually large. She was buried in Goshen cemetery.
