A young man named Hubert Kann was instantly killed on Tuesday last at the house of Wm. Kann by a threshing machine. The main belt had run off the pulleys and Hubert attempted to stop the motion of the machine by holding straw against the pulley wheels when one of them broke and passed entirely through his head coming out at the top.
