DIED. At McGregor, Iowa, on the 14th inst., in the 32nd year of her age, leaving an infant daughter, Mary E., wife of Colin F. Bell, and daughter of Wm. ? Gil-- [most of name illegible]

Kind, gentle and affectionate Mary. She died in the [illegible] family circle, deeply regretted, and we trust, has exchanged the groveling things of earth, for a glorious immortality.

Notes: The obituary of Colin F. Bell names her as Mary Esther Gilchrist. He later remarried. The surviving infant daughter possibly was Anna G., also named in Mr. Bell's obit. Anna was still living as of 1885.
