Addie Mielke Services Held

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 28, 1978, at 2 p.m. in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, for Addie Mielke, 90, of Monona, who died on Sunday, June 25 in a Waukesha, Wisconsin, nursing home.

Pallbearers were Willard Schlitter, Creighton O. Mielke, Dave Lychwick, Gary Schlitter, Michael Mielke and Greg Mielke.

Pastor R. D. Ehlers officiated at the service. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery.

Mrs. Mielke was born January 4, 1888, in Volney, Iowa. She married Otto A. Mielke. He died in 1945. A son, Lloyd, preceded her in death also.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Evelyn) Schlitter of Sumner and Mrs. Paul (Margretta) Buerger of Monona; four sons, Creighton of Waukesha, Wis., Carlton of Oklahoma City, Okla., Donald of Simi Valley, Calif., and Lester of Milwaukee, Wis.; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
