Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Apr. 1891.

At her home in Mitchell, South Dakota, on March 26th, 1891, of la grippe, occurred the death of Sarah A., wife of Charles W. Adams.

Deceased was a daughter of the late H. C. Grotewohl, and was born at Elkader, November 15th, 1860; consequently she was 30 years, 4 months and 11 days of age at the time of her death. In 1882 she was married to C. W. Adams, and they at once went to Mitchell, South Dakota, where they have since made their home. Two sons, aged three and eight years, and her husband, are left to mourn her death.

Her remains were brought to Elkader, the funeral taking place from the residence of Mrs. C. E. Grotewohl on Sunday last, and was very largely attended by a large circle of mourning friends and relatives. The funeral services were conducted by J. N. Hamilton.

The afflicted family have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow.
