At his home near Volga City, Saturday, March 21, 1891, occurred the death of George Revell, after a few weeks sickness with la grippe, aged 48 years and 26 days. He was born n Erith, Huntingtonshire, England, and came with his family to this country in 1869, settling in Sperry township. He was a good citizen and neighbor and will be greatly missed by the community and the M.E. church, of which he has been a member for twenty-one years. The funeral was held Monday in the M.E. church, the sermon was preached by Rev. H. Williams. Mr. Revell leaves a wife, three sons and a daughter to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father, whose care and protection they will so much need. Their many friends deeply sympathize with them in their sad bereavement.
