Mrs. John* O'Day, of Lodomillo township, died Wednesday evening, February 25, 1891, of consumption. Mrs. O'Day was a daughter of John Murphy, an old resident of this township. The family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

The angel of death visited our community last Wednesday, and took therefrom Mrs. Michael O'Day. The funeral was held Friday in the Catholic church at this place, and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery near here. She leaves a husband and eight small children to mourn her loss. They have the sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.

(Note: She shares a gravestone in Sacred Heart, Littleport, with her husband Michael O'Day)
