DIED - After a prolonged illness, on Wednesday, February 25th, 1891, Andrew Jost, aged 43 years. Mr. Jost was an unmarried man, and came to Guttenberg in 1875. He was a brother-in-law of our esteemed citizen August Jungk, at whose residence he expired. He was very industrious and kind hearted, and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his death. He was a member of Jefferson Lodge No. 129, A.O.U.W., under whose auspices the funeral occurred on Friday last. Relatives and friends extend their sincerest thanks to Dr. de Fries for delivering a most praiseworthy address on the occasion, and the members of Jefferson Lodge for their assistance during his last sickness.
