Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Jan. 1891.

We are informed that the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stahl, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died on Saturday of lung fever, and was buried at Volga City yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Stahl will have the sympathy of many Clayton county friends in their affliction.

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Welch, of Lodomillo, were in Volga last Wednesday, to be present at the burial services of their nephew, Bertie C. Stahl; as were also Mrs. Jane Harrington and son, of Clermont, and A. W. Purman, of East Elkport.
