Bessie Lucile, youngest child of Charles D. Dohrer and wife Augusta, nee Meyer, was born in Cox Creek Twp., Clayton County, Iowa, February 1st, 1922, and was called by the Heavenly Father on Saturday morning, Dec. 1st, 1923, after she had brightened and made glad the home and family circle for the brief period of one year and ten months. Sadly missed but gladly remembered by loving parents, three brothers and four sisters, John, Martha, ____ , Harold, Katherine, Mildred and Charles, Jr.,, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at _____ o'clock at the house and at 3:00 o'clock at the Evangelical church, Rev. Franke officiating. The little child was laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.
