Mrs. Michael Lei (nee Emma Mueller) passed away at her farm home near Edgewood Tuesday, March 6, after a long illness. She was born in this state on May 17, 1880, and spent most of her life in Clayton County. Twenty-three years ago she was married at Elkader to Michael Lei, who died seven years ago. Of late years she resided on a farm near Edgewood. The body was buried in St. Joseph's cemetery here last Friday. She is survived by four sons, John, Roy, Charles and Henry, all at home; her aged mother, two sisters, Mrs. J. and Mrs. O. Adams, of Volga City; two brothers Louis Mueller, of Elkader, and Henry Mueller of Edgewood.
