Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 28 Nov. 1918. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Mrs. Enfield Brandenburg of Des Moines, occurred at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. C. Brandenburg. Mrs. Brandenburg had been here visiting relatives when stricken with the influenza. Three of her sisters reside here, Mesdames C. C. Brandenburg, J. M. McLane and Frank Partch. The funeral was held Friday and the remains were taken to her home at Des Moines for burial. We are without further particulars.

Note: Burial is in Glendale cemetery, Des Moines, Polk co. IA. Her gravestone has her dates engraved:
06/18/1843 - 11/21/1918
