On Monday, September 23, 1918, at her home in Dubuque, Mrs. Henry Schoch passed away at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 23 days, after a week's illness. Deceased was born in Jefferson township, Clayton county, Iowa, on Oct. 31, 1856 and was a sister of C. L. Backes, of this township. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Lutheran church in this city Thursday afternoon. Interment was made in the city cemetery. Rev. J. Janzig conducted the funeral services. We are without further particulars.
