Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 18 July 1918. Fairview column.

The funeral services of Gladys Funk, the 8 year old daughter of John Funk, were conducted by Rev. Riggs at Emerson Chapel on the 7th. Burial was at Bethel cemetery.
