Mrs. Mary Tangeman, wife of J. H. Tangeman, died at Finley hospital, Dubuque, Sunday morning at six o'clock. She had been a resident of Clayton county all her life, and had been taken to the hospital there for surgical relief, following a week's illness. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Bruno, of Minneapolis, George, of Garnavillo, Othmer of Dubuque, and Areny of Ketterville, Ohio. Her mother, Mrs. Schumacher of Garnavillo and three brothers and three sisters of Clayton county survive her. Her body was shipped to Garnavillo Monday and the funeral was held on Wednesday from the Lutheran church, of which she was a member. This is the second death in the Tangeman family within about a week. Ed Tangeman, a brother-in-law, died and was buried last week.
