Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 06 June 1918.
The sudden death of Henry, the eight-year-old son of Jesse Turner, occurred very suddenly last evening at his home in Elkader.
The boy had been sick for some three weeks with grippe and rheumatism, but seemed to be improving. His death took place at ten o'clock last evening, and he was sick only about two hours.
The funeral is to be held tomorrow afternoon, at the house at 1:30 and then at 2:00 at the Congregational church.
The parents of the little boy, who was born Oct. 26, 1910, are Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Turner. Besides his parents, he leaves five brothers and five sisters, Fred, who is now in France with the American Expeditionary Forces; Jessie, John, Walter, Frances, Lottie, Ella May, Clinton, Nellie and Raymond.
