Kimberly Rae Bothel-Harper, 57, McGregor, Iowa, died Friday, November 12, 2021, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

She was born June 2, 1964, to Earl and Janet (Erb) Bothel in McGregor, Iowa.

She graduated from AIC in Davenport, Iowa, and was a medical administrative assistant for years. In her youth, she was an avid softball player, was “very creative and extremely artistic”. She had a gift with words, for when she wrote, she articulated her words with precision and passion. She loved fishing and, gardening, and grilling out for her family.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Her laughter and smile would fill the room, making her presence known. Most of all, she had one of the biggest hearts of gold. When she loved, she loved deeply.

She leaves behind her daughters, Heather (Tim) Briggs of Davenport, Iowa, and Samantha Harper of McGregor, Iowa. Five Grandchildren, Jacqueline Harper, Harleigh Briggs, Bryson Harper, Jaxon Briggs, and Ashton Peters. Two Brothers, William Bothel of McGregor, Iowa, and Jeremy (Katie) Bothel of Davenport, Iowa.

She’s proceded in death by her father Earl Francis Bothel Jr, Mother Janet Elaine Erb Bothel, and Brother Rob Allen Bothel.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 21,2021 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa.
Inurnment at a later date.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
