Proctor W. Gull 77, of Kansas City, Mo., died there Apr. 25, 1983, following a long illness. Memorial services were held in the John Knox Ecumenical Chapel of Lee's Summit, Mo., Apr. 28. Mr. Gull had donated his body to the College of Medicine, University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Mr. Gull was born in Graham, Iowa, on Dec. 8, 1905, a son of Charles and Edith (Graham) Gull. He received his elementary education at Graham, graduated from Epworth High School and received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Iowa State University at Ames.
He was employed first with the federal government and then with Gulf Oil Co. as an agronomist, developing chemicals for agricultural use.
He is survived by his wife, Francis of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Sandra) McMahan of Palo Alto, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers, George Gull and Charles Gull of Greeley; a sister, Mrs. Ray (Martha) Schrunk of Cedar Rapids, and many relatives and friends in this area.
