Puls, Judy Margaret 1955-2021

Judy Margaret Puls, 66, went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2021. She died unexpectedly in a tragic accident. She was born April 20, 1955 to James and Joyce Puls in Pender, Nebraska. Judy graduated from Des Moines Lincoln High School and the University of Northern Iowa.

Judy had a long and distinguished career as an educator at Ft. Madison, Garnavillo, Guttenberg and Clayton Ridge schools.

She volunteered anywhere that needed a helping hand. She was highly involved at St. John’s Lutheran Church where she participated in Sunday School, Circle, Church Council, Bible School, and bell choir.

Judy loved spending time with her son, Timothy, her family, and her dear friend, DeAnne Lewis. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, James Puls. She is survived by her son, Timothy Puls, her mother, Joyce Puls, her brothers and sisters, Randy (Deb) Puls, Gary (Lora) Puls, Tony (Marcy) Puls, Sheila Puls, Sandy (Lee) McNorton, Lori Puls, Jodi Puls, and Brad (Michelle) Puls. She also had numerous nephews and nieces.
