Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 20 Dec. 1917.

One death from scarlet fever occurred last week Wednesday, that of the infant child of Jack Jungblut, living in the northern part of town. There have been seven cases of the disease so far, but the doctors report that these have been reduced to one at the present time.
