The funeral of Mrs. E. D. Ollinger was held Monday morning at the Sacred Heart church at Cox Creek, Father Casey saying requiem mass. Mrs. Ollinger was born in Germany and came to this country, settling on a farm on Cox Creek in the early 60's. For the last five years, Mr. and Mrs. Ollinger have made their home at Volga, until a few weeks ago she came to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Baldridge, where she passed away Friday, at the age of 85 years. She leaves her husband and eleven children, who were all present at the funeral: Mrs. M. H. Henry of this place; George Ollinger of Minneapolis; Barney Ollinger of Brule, S.D.; George Ollinger of Mederville; Mrs. Will Baldridge of Strawberry Point; Mrs. Iva Graham of Dubuque; Mrs. Ella Malstrom of Minneapolis; Mrs. D. A. Harkins of Sheldon, Iowa; Mrs. Mary Hanson of Chicago; Adam Ollinger of Volga; and Mrs. Dupy of Minneapolis. Burial took place in the Cox Creek Cemetery.
