Kuehl, Emma 1906 - 1917

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 31 May 1917. Elkport coulmn.

Word was received here last Friday that Emma Kuehl, daughter of Herman Kuehl and wife, had died at Chase, Ia., and the remains were brought here on Saturday for interment in the Lutheran cemetery. She was born in Elkport on Nov. 16, 1906, and was nearly eleven years of age at the time of her death. Several years ago she had an attack of scarlet fever and since that time has never regained her health. The funeral was largely attended and the pallbearers were selected from her girl friends as follows: Millie Reuschel, Alma Waterman, Viola Brandtman and Martha Paulson.
