The funeral services of Mrs. Hannah Barr were held at the M.E. Church at North McGregor, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Peddicord officiating at the services.

Mrs. Barr was one of the pioneers of North McGregor, a woman of high culture and refinement. Her husband died twenty-five years ago. About seven years ago she went to Mason City and lived with her daughter. Over a year ago a serious illness set in from which she gradually grew weaker, until Thursday morning she passed away, all her children at her bedside, except a son, Robert Barr, in California.

Mrs. Barr was about seventy years old.
