Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 09 Dec. 1909. Elkport column.

Mrs. Caroline Hildebrandt, who was born a Schedtler, died Saturday, aged 90 years, 7 months and 2 days. She was born March 2nd, 1819, in Farno, Meckl-Schn, Germany. Her husband died in 1899. She is survived by three children, Christian, at Littleport, Wilk Hildebrandt, of Volga twp., and Mrs. Henry Scheer. The funeral was held Monday, Rev. Linnenburger officiating. The interment was in the Musfelt cemetery.
