Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 09 Dec. 1909. Elkport column.

Mrs. Wm. Henricks died Thursday, Dec. 2nd. She was born a Meier, in Fenton twp., Kossuth county, Iowa, March 10th, 1875. On August 23rd, 1899, she married Wm. Hendricks, and to them were born four children, two of whom, Lizzie and Louis, survive. She leaves a husband, two children, three brothers, August Meier, of Communia, Otto, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and John at Watertown, S.D., and one sister, Mrs. Henry Horstman, of Volga twp. The funeral was held Saturday, Rev. F. Linnenbuerger officiating. The burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.
