Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 27 May 1909. Strawberry Point column.

Died, on Thursday, May 13th, Mrs. Katherlin Fisher Merkl, at the home of her son John, living southeast of town. Mrs. Merkl was the mother-in-law of C. L. Eaton. Funeral services conducted last Saturday at the Catholic church, Rev. Father Hartigan officiating.
