Tuesday of this week a large crowd of friends gathered at the Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Allyn home, near Garnavillo, to show their sympathy to the family in the loss of their little boy, five months old, after a short illness. The funeral services were conducted at the house and in the German church, Rev. J. Burkhard, of Clayton Center, officiated. The little one was laid to rest in the lovely cemetey near Garnavillo.
