Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 04 Feb. 1909. Volga column.

Wm. Henry Jones was born in New York August 10th, 1857, came to Iowa in 1877. Was married to Miss Georgia Hold of Volga City, May 29, 1898. Died at Oelwein, Iowa, Jan. 28th 1909. He leaves a wife and two children, Wm. Harold and Marjorie Lucile, to mourn his loss. Mr. Jones was a man that was liked by all who knew him. The remains were brought here Tuesday and buried from the Presbyterian church. He was a member of the Woodman lodge, members of the camp here acted as pall bearers, Rev. C. A. Dugger officiated.
