STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Albert Kash were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. J. Kidder of Manchester, assisted by Rev. James P. Gable, local Methodist pastor. Music was furnished by the male quartet composed of Dr. R. W. Dutton, Eldon Stafford, W. A. Luce and G. J. Gill. The pallbearers were W. H. Arnold, G. F. Scofield, Joe Gratke, John Tinker, J. J. Matthews and George E. Dunfrund. Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Albert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kash, Sr., was born at Forestville, April 23, 1871. He was united in marriage to Miss Zetta Laity, March 4, 1902. The home was made on the home farm until 13 years ago, when they moved to Strawberry Point, where they have since resided. For some time Mr. Kash has been in poor health and the best medical care was given him. He passed peacefully away Saturday evening surrounded by loved ones. Mr. Kash was one of the directors of the Strawberry Point Farmers Creamery for 18 years, served on the town council for three years, and for the past four years had been a director of the Union Bank and Trust company. He is survived by his widow, two brothers and two sisters: Louie Kash, who has always lived with them, John Kash of Dundee, Mrs. Frank Wesley and Mrs. Tom Houska, both of Lamont; four nephews and seven nieces, besides other relatives and a large circle of friends.
