Gordon Tanner died Friday, July 27th at his home in Mles City, Mont., and funeral services were held at Miles City and burial was made in the city cemetery in Monona, in charge of the Masons. He was born January 9, 1872, and was 62 years old at the time of his death. He grew to manhood at Monona and was married to Chryss Bratsburg of Volney, and this union was blessed with one son, Gordon. In 1906 his wife died at Marquette, where they had made their home, and he was later married to Elizabeth Wells of Marquette, and they made Miles City, Mont. their home. She, with one son, Gordon, survive him and accompanied the remains to Monona.
