FAIRVIEW: Frank A. Stone was born in New York State on December 10, 1853, and passed away at his home in Colesburg on Wednesday evening, April 18, after a brief illness. He was 80 years old and still vey active for his age. He came to this community with his parents when yet a small boy and settled here until about 15 years ago when he moved to Colesburg. In 1876 he was united in marriage to Miss Adaline Harbaugh. To this union 10 children were born, 5 of whom, and his wife, preceded him in death. In 1906 he was again united in marriage to Mrs. Mary Swisher who survives him. For many years Mr. Stone was an active member of the Fairview United Brethern church and attended regularly with his family. After moving to Colesburg he was a active worker in the M.E. church.

Surviving are his wife, 3 daughters, 1 son, 3 step-sons, 2 step-daughters, several grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Funeral services were held from the M.E. church in Colesburg on Saturday afternoon and interment was made in the Brown cemetery.
