The sudden death of Mrs. Gustav A. Larson, nee Carrie Erickson, 82 years old, occurred at her home in Clayton township on Tuesday evening of last week. The cause of her death was old age. Deceased was born in Sweden, and later came to America. She was married at Prairie du Chien, Wis., in 1874 to Gustav A. Larson, who preceded her in death a number of years ago. After their marriage the couple settled on a farm in Clayton township, where deceased spent the remainder of her ambitious and true Christian life. She is survived by three children: Fred, of Osterdock; Alfred, of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Albert Franz, of Clayton township; seven grandchildren; one brother, Ole Erickson of Marquette, and many other relatives and friends, who will all sadly miss this good and true mother and friend. Funeral services were held at the Swedish Lutheran church near McGregor, Friday, with burial in the Swedish Lutheran cemetery there. The funeral was largely attended.
