Frank W. Hines, 67, of 467 Seminary Street, died suddenly Saturday afternoon while on vacation in Lewistown, Mont.

The body will arrive in Dubuque Tuesday. Complete arrangements will be announced by the Behr Funeral Home.

Hines was born Oct. 28, 1884 at Littleport, Ia., a son of the late Marion and Julia Robbins Hines.

He was employed for many years at the Metz Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, Julien Lodge; and Union Local 31646 UBCJ.

On March 25, 1907 he was married to Elizabeth Hermes in Dubuque.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Crystal) Haupert, of Dubuque; two sons, Andrew Hines and Francis Hines, both of Dubuque; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Collins of Pillager, Minn., and Mrs. Blanche Wilberding, of Vera Cruz, Calif.; and four brothers, Claude, Jacob, Peter and Lawrence Hines, all of Pillager.
